Mome Literary Anthology
MOME is a quarterly anthology showcasing the best new talent of this decade's rising cartoon generation. Anchored by a core roster of contributors —Andrice Arp, Gabrielle Bell, Jonathan Bennett, Jeffrey Brown, Martin Cendreda, Sophie Crumb, David Heatley, Paul Hornschemeier, Anders Nilsen, John Pham, R. Kikuo Johnson, David B. and Kurt Wolfgang— the series also features surprise strips from creators like Tim Hensley, as well as a gorgeous design by Jordan Crane. Mome was conceived as a contemporary literary journal, though one that tells its stories via the medium of comics, rather than prose. This full-color series also features an interview with one of the Mome contributors in each volume, conducted by Gary Groth.
