OK, I feel the need to write about cave animals today. I don't mean sabre-toothed cats or other ancient beasts. I mean in the present day there are still animals living in caves - fish, lizards, snakes, etc. When I was a kid I learned about how cave animals live in zero light conditions so over time they've evolved to have no eyes and no skin pigment.
See, I was talking about cave kitties yesterday and how they'd be blind and you could see through to their organs and no one knew what I was talking about.
So, now you know. If you ever go swimming in an underground lake that never gets any sunlight, don't be surprised if a blind, see-through fish bumps into you.
